Bingo's new digs

This year the big gift from Santa was a little fish take to put in the kids room so Bingo could get off of the stove and out of the Kitchen. Today in the falling snow and sleet, I took the kids and the gift card that came with the fish tank to PetsMart to get some stuff for Bingo's new digs. we plan of getting a friend for Bingo to swim with, but one baby step at a time.

December 2009

Time to update the blogspot. so this month has been filled with a lot of school activites. first Zachary made cookies at school. They made chefs hats out of tissue paper and frosted cookies with green frosting (lovely!).

Just after Halloween we let Emily join the Oakwood Owls choir the "Owl Corral" and they had their Christmas concert.

Emily really enjoys singing just like her Father who has also been busy with the Stirling Singers. we also enjoyed the Bateman family Christmas party. Aunt Diana put it on this year and we helped quilt 3 quilts and put kits together for the Church Humanitarian center. and finally our ward party. we has an "Old Fashion Christmas" party with breakfast and games.

My children participated in the cake walk, A LOT, and of course Zachary came home with a cake,
and then he won the candy jar for guessing the correct amount (I am the one who helped with that ;( and Yes he won!). This Christmas season has been good. I got done last week with all I needed to, now I can enjoy the next couple of days. I am very grateful for all that we have, we have been very blessed and I need to remember that more often.I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas!

Christmas Crafts

So I am really getting into making cut aprons. My friend Robin asked me to make 7 of them for her to give as gifts so these are some of the pictures of them, also I made some for the Festival Of Trees that will be going on this next weekend.

Other October Occasions...

Ok, now I need to backtrack to the rest of the month. at the end of this week we will move forward again. so the first weekend we went on the yearly camping trip with Paul's Mom and Dad and the rest of the gang. this year we went up to Strawberry. Jessica and Matt came along with us it was a lot of fun and the kids always enjoy being with the cousins. and man it was COLD! but our little heater in the tent trailer did really well.

also, Kay and Ryan introduced us to Geo Cashing. so we all went in a big group to find some of the "treasures" that were around Strawberry. since then, Paul and the kids have been out around our house and Paul even went in Oklahoma on his last business trip.

so from there we went onto Paul turning 30! yes the big three oh! we had the usual suspects come for cake and Ice cream.

finally, we went on a walking field trip with the whole 1st grade.

well that should put us up to Halloween weekend.
