Princesses!!

So, we went to our character breakfast yesterday morning and there were some of the princesses there, well they never made it to our table,Emily was so disappointed, so we went into the park to see them at the Princess area in Disneyland.





and yesterday we went to see Tinkerbell at Pixie Hallow.

Day at the Beach!

This morning, while we were standing in line to see the Princesses in Disneyland, my wonderful friend Krystal talked us into going to the beach today(this had been an ongoing conversation and stress of mine about when we would be going to the beach.) and boy I am glad that she did. so we finished up on our last day in the parks and headed for the Beach. Huntington Beach was what was decided and off we went. it was a lot of fun. we were only there a couple of hours but it was well worth it. fun was had by all.

What to do when you are childless???

so I have finally made it to that all important day, no children with me for 3 hours in the morning! yeah! so I went on a walk, raked up the apples on the back lawn, and did the dishes. sound fun to you? I had a blast, and Zachary had a blast at his first day of preschool!

The tale of a fish...

So we got our "pet" fish a couple of weeks ago as you all remember from our ward party. I won him playing bingo, hence his name, BINGO. Well the clean freak that I am decided to clean the fish bowl so away I went. I pulled out all of my old fish stuff from my days at PetsMart, net and all and went to cleaning the bowl out. well little did I know that the fish net that I own will not go into the top of the bowl that BINGO is in, So new plan. I have a real fish bowl up in the closet and I am going to use that. Cleaning commences and I have to pour out the fish over a pitcher sitting in my sink. So far so good until the fish bounces out of the net and down into the disposal.(nobody told the Idiot cleaning this fish bowl out to plug the sink!) I am sure that I had utter shock and dread on my face and Zachary freaking out next to me was no help. Well, after a few choice words, I put my hand down into the disposal and "fished" the fish out and put it into the new bowl and it survived. yes! it really survived, so far. this morning it was still with us. So here is a picture of the fish in his new digs.

So tonight we went to our ward's End of Summer party. this year it was a Hawaiian theme. they played beach towel bingo, and the prize was a gold fish in a bowl that was on the table. well I won one of the bingo games and soon learned that was the prize. well I decided to name the fish BINGO because I won it playing. let me tell you the kids have never wanted anything more. oh joy!
