Wow, November where have you gone? where has your friends January thru October gone? this month has been nuts. We have been busy little bees. 1st we had the Grandparents Lunch and book fair at the school, I was in charge of the grandparents lunch again this year, and everything went well. Emily has her 3rd grade pow-wow where they talked about the Native Americans and they had a Navaho Indian come and do a Hoop dance. Zachary and Paige also had Pow-Wows and feasts in their classes. We had parent teacher conference next. Both of the kids are doing well in school, Emily could use a little more help in math, she is just like her old mother in the way, stupid math! Yesterday was Thanksgiving, we were here this year with my family and it was a really nice day and good food! I hope everyone had a great feast day. On to the next holiday!!!
So, I have been in a slump lately! I don't want to do anything that requires being creative an trying to plan something. I want it done for me so I can copy it or whatever it takes to get it done. This includes my blog. I need to update it and here I am finally doing it. At the end of August the kids started school and it has been a roller coaster trying to get Zachary used to all day school and work that needs to be finished by the end of that day. Well, we got through the summer and through September and now we are into October! can you believe it, October, where did the year go? Halloween is almost upon us, good thing the kids costumes are already to go. Here are some pictures from the end of summer to now. Enjoy! this is the brick we bought to put in front of our new Elementary School.
So,this last month has been one big roller coaster ride. As usual, time really does fly by and gets away from you. In the last month we have had Zachary's 6th birthday, the Bateman family 4th of July party at Aunt Diana's, the 4th of July Murray Parade, a lost tooth, Hatton family fun up at my Aunt & Uncle's cabin, My 33rd Birthday that produced a new and better camera for all my picture posting, and a friend Birthday party for Zach! whew all that in one month. here are the pictures. Enjoy! up next 24th of July festivities!
This last month has been one big roller coaster ride! It all started the last weekend in April when Courtney and Jorge got married. (Courtney was one week old when I started babysitting for Julie and Todd and look at her now all grown up! she will be 20 yrs old in August. That will tell you that I am getting old right there!!) We drove out to Stockton on Friday and on Saturday before the wedding we drove into San Francisco, we drove over 3 of the 4 Bay area bridges, went down Lombard street (Its just like in the movies! hehe), then we went to China town. After a fun filled morning in San Fran we drove back for the wedding and all the hoopla, then we got up the next morning and started back home.
Then the month progressed and we had our 10 Year wedding anniversary, YES 10 YEARS! We did not do much for that because we left the next day for Ohio to go to my cousin Emily and Matt's wedding. My kiddos were in her wedding and we have been looking forward to this trip for a while, so off we went on a jet plane to Ohio. The food was amazing at the reception and the venue was gorgeous, It was even more wonderful seeing all the family and meeting the new members that we have not met yet. so after a wonderful time in Ohio.
We came home and the month progressed and the kids were getting ready for school to let out for the year ( yeah to that this year I could not wait for it to be over.) Finally it was Karmon and Scott's turn to get married.
Yes we had a lot of weddings this month! It was a beautyful day. And last but not least my flowers finally got planted after a month of nothing but rain showers and cold and School let out.
Next year the kids will be in a brand new school and brand new grades. Let the Summer begin!!
