2nd Half year Birthday boards!

Now that the school year is wrapping up, here is the pictures of the Birthday Boards that I did in the 2nd half of the year. and while I am catching the blog up, here is what I did for Teacher Appreciation week in Emilys class this year, and for the art teacher.

BINGO!.......RIP

Sad day at the Bateman home....Bingo, our feeder fish that was won at the ward summer party playing a bingo game,(hence the name), has gone to the big fish bowl in the sky. Sad kids tonight.

Birthdays, Yardwork and Easter!

What a wild week it has been at our house. First Emily Turned 10 years old! YES, I said 10 years. She is such a light in our lives! She had a birthday party this year, she wanted to go to color me mine. She invited 9 of her close friends and away we went. They got to paint jewelry boxes. It went really well and the girls had a blast. Now onto yard work. Its that time of year yet again. so off we went to do Grandma Cookies yard and then came home to do a little more on our yard. Yard Rehab is a PAIN!!!and never ending, but it will look really nice when the work is done. Finally yesterday was Easter. we had very lovely time at church then we went and had dinner at Philip and Amber's house with, of course and Easter egg hunt. I cant believe that its already April, Time does fly when you are having fun...or something like that!

Yard work! Yay!

This is what we did today....With such lovely weather today, I thought we could get a jump start on the yard rehab and get it ready for FLOWERS! I wish that I had taken a before picture, but alas that did not happen. Just know that this garden was full of leaves and really grown over. I think that I will plant a couple rose bushes and some annuals. Can't wait! now my body feels like a 95 year old woman, but the house feels a little more like mine today. Here are some before pictures for the rest of the yard. I will post after pictures as a finish each part. Here is the start of a long summer of yard rehab!

Happy Valentine's Day 2013!

Happy Valentines Day to all that we know and love. Things have been crazy around here the last month or so. Paul being the judge/word announcer for the Spelling bee at the school, tons of PTA stuff and classroom parties, and Grandparent Lunches, Birthday Books, and on and on. 2012/2013 Birthday Boards

I had so much fun doing the Birthday Board at the kids school last year, that I said that I would do it again this year. So far so good, the challange is to come up with new sayings...so far...with the help of my talented and crafty sister...this is what we have come up with.

2012 year in review!

Yesterday was Christmas, We had a wonderful first Christmas in our Home. My Brother, Taylor and His Wife Elise came from Logan, on their way to her family in Filmore, to stay the weekend and Christmas morning with us. We also had everyone over to our house for Christmas Eve Dinner and Present opening. This was a wonderful Holiday, not a lot of stress, (some but not much). The kids had a good day too. they got bikes and finally we got a Wii, now that the new Wii U is out, but hey they kids are happy. Now my task is to not let them play it all to often.
