Birthday, Easter and Teacher Appreciation 2012

So moving right along through the year of Two Thousand and Twelve. We had Emily's 9th birthday (Yes, I said 9 years), I can not believe how time has flown by. This year was the year of clothes, which she dearly needed.

Then we moved right on to Easter. This year it was earlier in April, we had a Easter egg hunt down in Levan with the Bateman side on conference weekend, then on Easter itself we went to Philip and Amber's for dinner and and egg hunt.

Finally on to Teacher appreciation 2012. This year I did the door for Zachary's teacher Mrs. Harper. We Love Mrs. Harper, she has been really good to Zachary through all his Zachyness, we can't say Thank you enough to her. Oh and here is the picture for the April Birthday Board.

Ambition! or lack therof

Lately we have had this musty dirty smell in our home, and for those of you who know me that is a little unusual, so I have started a quest to clean every nook and cranny of my home and pack anything that we have not used in almost 9 years of living here and almost 11 years of marriage. In the event of actually buying a home this summer, I will be more than prepared. I started on the playroom in the basement, now onto the Laundry room that is the dirtiest place in the whole house. pictures to follow.

On to the next month!

WOW?!?!?!?! Is it already March, time just goes by so fast. Nothing much going on in the Bateman Camp at the moment, We are saving up for a down payment on our 1st Home. We hope to be buying one by the end of this summer. The Kids are enjoying school, can you believe that there are only 3 months left of this school year? I can't! time is just flying by. Emily turns 9! (Yes, I said 9) this month and I have no idea what to get her for her birthday. Paul have been at his job at MVI for 1 year now he likes it so much that it feels like he has always been there. It's a great environment, great people that he works with, and room to grow and develop himself. We are finally in a good point in our lives, not that we haven't been before, We have been very blessed. Zachary is just Zachary, we are trying to keep him out of trouble and getting his work done is school. 1st grade can be brutal, and we hope he makes it through without being totally board. We hope all is well with everyone. Here are some of the pictures of the last couple months and two more school birthday boards that I have done.

Birthday Bulletin Boards

This year I have been in charge of the Birthday Bulletin board at the kids school here are the first five boards that I have come up with.

OH there you are 2012!!!

Sorry, I have been out of touch this last couple of months. We got through Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. They were very good as Holidays go. Christmas was especially nice with it being on Sunday. We got up let the kids look in their stockings, had breakfast and got ready for church. After church we came home and opened presents and chilled the rest of the day until we went to Grandma Batemans to see Paul's Parents and siblings. It was a very nice day. on New Years we were in Levan once again with LOTS of food, friends/family and fun. all in all the Holidays were wonderful, but I am glad that it is the New Year! Let 2012 be a good if not a better year.

November has come and gone!

Wow, November where have you gone? where has your friends January thru October gone? this month has been nuts. We have been busy little bees. 1st we had the Grandparents Lunch and book fair at the school, I was in charge of the grandparents lunch again this year, and everything went well. Emily has her 3rd grade pow-wow where they talked about the Native Americans and they had a Navaho Indian come and do a Hoop dance. Zachary and Paige also had Pow-Wows and feasts in their classes. We had parent teacher conference next. Both of the kids are doing well in school, Emily could use a little more help in math, she is just like her old mother in the way, stupid math! Yesterday was Thanksgiving, we were here this year with my family and it was a really nice day and good food! I hope everyone had a great feast day. On to the next holiday!!!

Creative Slump!

So, I have been in a slump lately! I don't want to do anything that requires being creative an trying to plan something. I want it done for me so I can copy it or whatever it takes to get it done. This includes my blog. I need to update it and here I am finally doing it. At the end of August the kids started school and it has been a roller coaster trying to get Zachary used to all day school and work that needs to be finished by the end of that day. Well, we got through the summer and through September and now we are into October! can you believe it, October, where did the year go? Halloween is almost upon us, good thing the kids costumes are already to go. Here are some pictures from the end of summer to now. Enjoy!

this is the brick we bought to put in front of our new Elementary School.
