Whew!! we got through that!

Well, here we are. We got through the first weeks of school, moved to our new house, started going to a new ward, and still have a lot to do! things are going good now that we are in the grove of things the kids have settled in and so have Paul and I. I Think. We really love being in our own home. Here are some before and after pictures, we are not done with all the projects I want to do, but its livable. enjoy, I know we do! The Kitchen. Summer is ending!

So this summer is coming to an end. We finally got closed on the house yesterday and the work can begin. Two weeks to move in! I hope we can get done. Feeling very frustrated and discouraged at this moment, but this too shall pass. here are some pictures from the rest of the summer.

on to the next big event....The 1st day of School yay! I am doing the birthday board once again this year and here is the 1st one of the year.

7 Years and 4th of July!

Happy Birthday Zachary! Sunday was Zachary's 7th Birthday. I cant believe that time is flying by so fast. we had our regular cake and Ice Cream crowd over and had a little celebration for him. Happy Birthday Buddy!

Happy Birthday America!! today is the 4th of July and we once again attended the Murray City Parade. we sat in front of the Acura dealership and had a blast. This year our numbers we smaller, but it was a lot of fun anyway!

New Homes, Summer, and Yellowstone...Oh My!!

Ok, so the last couple of weeks have been one big stressful blur! First, we got through the first hurdle of the House buying. The short sale that we put an offer on went from no movement, to put your best offer in, to you are one of three in the running, to hurray!! you are the one chosen. So now we are in the getting the bank to approve everything so we can start the Mortgage process. We are very exciting to start this chapter in our lives, We are also very scared and sad to leave our friends, family, Neighbors and Loved ones but we are excited as well. I will keep you updated on the process as we go through it. just like in the last post her is the picture again. Summer also started this last week. The kids were out of school of Friday, man its seems like its been and eternity since last Friday! here are some Pictures of the last week of school. Finally, this last weekend we were in Yellowstone. We went up and stayed at our Bishops cabin in Island Park (Beautiful area!!) we drove around on his 4 wheel mule and fished and then on Monday and Tuesday we went into Yellowstone park. we had a blast just getting away and spending some time with our children.

Happening so far...

Ok, so that last little while has been really stressful for little ol me. We started the process of purchasing a home, we have been looking and we found one out in South Jordan. This home is cute! It needs a little work, some paint and new carpet (only because I am weird that way. walking on others filth is not my idea of fun! sorry that is how I roll!). This house is just what I have been wanting and looking for, but alas it is a short sale!( only I would pick out a short sale! wait they are all short sales!) sorry little rant! Well, we decided to go for it and put an offer in anyway, and now it just a waiting game with the bigger possibility that we don't get it at all. sniff sniff. We will keep looking, but now I am just a little tainted because I like this other house too much. here is a pictures of it.

We are finally in the last month of school! We made it! with that comes the last Birthday board picture.

I really am looking forward to the next couple months, the summer is coming up and it will be nice to have some sleep in time and time with my kids. I want to get out there and do some fun things with them this summer on top of looking/waiting for a house to come along and let us move into it. next school year is going to be fun too, as I have volunteered/been asked to be the secretary for the PTA at our school for next year. I am really excited about that. Hopefully I can keep my chin up with the house thing because as of today I am really discouraged. wish me luck!

Birthday, Easter and Teacher Appreciation 2012

So moving right along through the year of Two Thousand and Twelve. We had Emily's 9th birthday (Yes, I said 9 years), I can not believe how time has flown by. This year was the year of clothes, which she dearly needed.



Then we moved right on to Easter. This year it was earlier in April, we had a Easter egg hunt down in Levan with the Bateman side on conference weekend, then on Easter itself we went to Philip and Amber's for dinner and and egg hunt.

Finally on to Teacher appreciation 2012. This year I did the door for Zachary's teacher Mrs. Harper. We Love Mrs. Harper, she has been really good to Zachary through all his Zachyness, we can't say Thank you enough to her. Oh and here is the picture for the April Birthday Board.

Ambition! or lack therof

Lately we have had this musty dirty smell in our home, and for those of you who know me that is a little unusual, so I have started a quest to clean every nook and cranny of my home and pack anything that we have not used in almost 9 years of living here and almost 11 years of marriage. In the event of actually buying a home this summer, I will be more than prepared. I started on the playroom in the basement, now onto the Laundry room that is the dirtiest place in the whole house. pictures to follow.
